Best FNAF Funko Pop Collectibles

Latest posts by Kara Phillips-Ashman (see all)

It is no surprise that Five Nights at Freddy’s is home to various collectible items. From plushies to statues to figures, there is probably an item to appeal to every franchise fan. But one of the most frequently appearing companies behind all this lovable merchandise is Funko. Funko has been recognized for tier high-quality and picture-perfect products for years, not to mention its diverse selection.

The thing Funko is most well-known for has to be their Funko Pop collection. I’m sure you’ve either seen or received a Funko Pop figure at some point because I find it hard to believe that any fan of nerdy culture hasn’t. My shelves are home to several figures ranging from Spongebob to Critical Role, which provides an insight into how many different figures you can find.

When it comes to Five Nights at Freddy’s, there is a Funko Pop figure for almost every character in several styles, so it’s safe to say you’re undeniably spoiled for choice. Unfortunately, this colossal variety of options makes the decision of which figure to buy almost impossible. Luckily I’ve compiled a list of the best FNAF Funko Pop collectiblesto help narrow down your decision.

The Selection Process

When buying Funko Pops, there is an in-depth selection process. Although it might not be as detailed as the selection process of buying a plushie, or a t-shirt, there are still a few questions to consider.

Rather than just accepting the first figure you see, you should carefully consider which character you’d like to take home from the franchise. In turn, there are several varieties of each character within the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, so it’s best to consider which style is your favorite.

For example, one of my favorite characters from the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise is Foxy, but it’s not as easy to just pick up the first Foxy Funko Pop I see. Alongside the standard Foxy figure, there is Rockstar Foxy, Funtime Foxy, Nightmare Foxy, and the list goes on.

Of course, if you’re an avid collector, you may plan on getting the entire series of Funko Pops, but for a first-time buyer, this choice can be overwhelming. If you approach the selection process with an idea of what you want, it makes it much easier to decide.

Alongside various styles, there are also several shop-exclusive figures I’d recommend keeping an eye out for. Some of these figures only slightly differ from their original form, but they are a fantastic and unique addition to any collection.

If you’re debating between two figures, one of which is a shop or event exclusive, I’d always go for the exclusive. Chances are, it’ll be worth more over the next few years, and because of the exclusivity of the figure, it’s probably quite rare.

So, now you’ve thought carefully about which character, style, and potentially exclusive figure you’d like to rehome, you’re free to explore the world of Funko Pop Figures. The options may still be overwhelming for any new collector, but my list of the crème de la crème will make it much more manageable.

My Top Picks at a Glance

Regarding my top picks, I’ll always have a soft spot for merchandise of underrated characters. For example, I adore that Funko gave Cupcake and Helpy a figure since they would usually be overlooked in Five Nights at Freddy’s merchandise.

Plus, both characters suit the iconic Funko Pop Style, so it’s hard not to adore these cutesy figures. I especially appreciate that they don’t have the horrifying appearance of most FNaF Funko Pop figures.

Secondly, I adore the Twisted Foxy figure as it doesn’t look like your typical Funko Pop. While it still has the same large black eyes and simple detail, this figure has more of a statue-like feel than a typical Funko Pop figure. I would love to add this figure to my collection, especially since Foxy is one of my all-time favorite FNaF characters, but because of how rare this piece is I struggle to think I’ll ever come across it.

Lastly, the Jack-O-Bonnie and Jack-O-Chica figures are among my favorites on this list. I think there’s something so special about the Dreadbear game, and as a Halloween fanatic myself, I adore anything covered in pumpkins. Even though these character designs are some you’d probably never think about getting merch for, I think they’d be a great addition to any collection.

Cupcake

Funko 13739 FNAF 13739 POP Vinyl Cupcake Figure

I don’t know about you, but Cupcake has always been one of my favorite Five Nights at Freddy’s characters. This sweet treat deserves a lot more attention, especially since Chica is so popular and you rarely see one without the other.

One thing I particularly love about this Funko Pop is how well the character suits the simple Pop style. The Cupcake animatronic is one of the simpler designs, so it mirrors the Funk style perfectly. Additionally, this figure is a much more subtle nod to the franchise than displaying a Freddy figure. So it can suit any home decor.

Pros

  • Not a figure a lot of people have
  • The character really suits the simplistic Funko Pop style
  • A subtle nod to Five Nights at Freddy’s rather
  • A solid base makes it much easier to stand the figure up

Cons

  • Limited run in 2017, so hard to come by
  • Because of its rarity, it’s a very expensive figure if bought second-hand

Balloon Boy

Balloon Boy

Although I think Balloon Boy is an incredibly haunting character, I can’t help but find this Funko Pop adorable. Maybe it’s the smoother design and lack of a fang-filled mouth, but I love it. The balloon sign and accompanying ballon are a fantastic addition to pay homage to the original character. Much like the Cupcake figure, this is a relatively hard character to find official merch for, so this figure is a must-have for any Balloon Boy lover.

However, the downside of this figure is its rarity. Since it’s a Walmart exclusive, it’s difficult to find in-store. But buying second-hand results in an increased price tag, so it’s a bit of a loss either way. So if you are lucky enough to stumble across this figure in store, I’d recommend buying it straight away.

Pros

  • It comes with a balloon and a sign as well
  • Incredibly true to character
  • Another underrated character that is hard to find merch for

Cons

  • Walmart exclusive, so it may be hard to come across in-store
  • Accessories are easily broken

Funtime Freddy

Pop! Vinyl Games Fnaf Sister Location Funtime Freddy

Any Five Nights at Freddy’s fan will need to add a Freddy Fazbear figure to their collection. This Funtime Freddy figure is one of my favorite variations of this loveable character. Rather than showcasing the classic brown animatronic, this Funtime Freddy is an excellent figure for any fans of Sister Location.

My favorite element of this figure is the Bon Bon puppet on Freddy’s hand, especially since this is a detail many pieces of Funtime Freddy merchandise miss. This figure is incredibly true to character and perfectly represents the charm and loveable nature of Funtime Freddy without any of the embedded horror.

Pros

  • Something different from a classic Freddy figure
  • Tiny, adorable Bon Bon puppet on the hand
  • Incredible attention to detail and true to character

Cons

  • The Limited Edition Sister Location collection was released in 2017, and no production of figures since
  • The white color on the body is easy to scratch or collect dust/dirt

Jumpscare Funtime Foxy

Funko Five Nights At Freddy's Sister Location Pop Vinyl Figure 223 Jumpscare Foxy SDCC Summer Convention Exclusives

This Jumpscare Funtime Foxy is a must-have for any Five Nights at Freddy’s fanatics who are more into the horror side of the game. The attention to detail on this Funko Pop is insane, and it disobeys the classic minimalist style of the brand – so it’s a unique figure in terms of appearance too.

But because of this figure’s uniqueness, it also comes with a level of rarity. This Jumpscare Funtime Foxy was a 2017 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive and had a limited production for the event. While it’s not in production now, these figures are still circulating.

But as the years have passed, the monetary value of this figure has only increased. So if you are lucky enough to find one online, expect to pay a significant amount for him!

Pros

  • Unlike any other Five Nights at Freddy’s Pop Figure
  • Incredibly detailed
  • Captures the scary side of the franchise rather than just the classic animatronic

Cons

  • 2017 Comic-Con exclusive figure – so tough to find

Helpy

helpy

Helpy is another character that deserves much more attention within the franchise, and this Funko Pop is the perfect piece for any Helpy lover. This figure may look a lot like Funtime Freddy but is smaller to signify being a different character. In addition, this figure has blue eyes rather than the stereotypical black eyes.

Funtime Freddy also has more detail across the whole body to show the animatronic elements of the character, whereas Hepy’s design is more smooth. Even though he’s not as detailed, I’d say he’s just as cute!

But as any underrated character merch goes, this figure, in particular, is incredibly popular. Because of its popularity, it’s pretty hard to come across. Even though it tends to be out of stock, many collectors sell this figure for a reasonable price.

Pros

  • Underrated character to find merch of
  • Adorable color palette
  • A subtle nod to the FNaF franchise

Cons

  • Incredibly popular, so it usually sold out
  • Price upon re-selling tends to be high

Dark Springtrap

Dark Springtrap

Alongside a Freddy Fazbear figure, every FNaF fan needs a Springtrap. However, rather than the classic Springtrap look, this Dark Springtrap Funko Pop is my favorite take on the character. Adopting a more metallic sheen than the stereotypical matte finish of a Funko Pop, this figure stands out in anyone display. Additionally, this figure has incredible attention to detail.

However, it’s a target-exclusive figure that many fans are after, so if you’re among the many on the hunt, I’d definitely look on the internet for a second-hand figure first. However, if you’re not looking to keep this piece in its box, you can find this exclusive Funko Pop for an incredibly reasonable price on sites like eBay and Amazon.

Pros

  • Different from a standard Springtrap figure
  • Attention to detail
  • True to character
  • One of my favorite pieces of Springtrap merch

Cons

  • Target Exclusive

Jack-O-Bonnie (Glow in the Dark)

Funko Five Nights at Freddy's-Jack-O-Bonnie Vinyl Pop-B&N Exclusive

I’m a sucker for anything Halloween-themed, so the Dreadbear Jack-O Animatronics are among some of my favorite characters in gaming history. As a secret Bonnie lover, this figure ticks all the boxes. Although its color palette may be a little garish for those who want more of a traditional FNaF Funko Pop collection, I think this figure is a valuable addition to any collection. Not to mention – it glows in the dark!

But as most of my favorite Five Nights at Freddy’s Funko Pops go, this figure is a Barnes & Noble exclusive and cased production fairly soon into its release. As this Funko Pop is incredibly niche, it’s expected to have a relatively high price tag if bought second-hand.

Pros

  • Focuses on the scarier side of the franchise again
  • Intriguing withered look
  • Haunting color palette
  • I just adore the Curse of the Dread Bear characters

Cons

  • People might think the Glow in the Dark element is tacky
  • Barnes & Noble exclusive

Flocked Freddy

Flocked Freddy

I’m sure every Five Nights at Freddy’s fan already has an expansive collection of Freddy Fazbear merchandise, but this Flocked Freddy Funko Pop is irresistible. The material gives it a cuter look than a typical FNaF figure, and as someone who is a sucker for anything adorable, I fell in love the instant I saw it.

However, if you remove your figures from the box, this flocked feel will easily collect dust, which may put any collector off. Additionally, another Barnes & Noble exclusive makes finding it quite tricky. But, since it depicts the most popular character in the whole franchise, it’s yet to cease production.

Pros

  • Classic Five Nights at Freddy’s style
  • The flocking makes it soft, unlike the hard plastic of other figures

Cons

  • It collects dust very quickly if taken out of the box
  • Barnes & Noble exclusive

Twisted Foxy

Five Nights at Freddy's-Twisted Foxy Collectible Figure

This Twisted Foxy Funko Pop is an entirely different take on the brand, one of the reasons it appeared on my list of the best of the best. Rather than being a standing figure, this rendition of Twisted Foxy showcases the character crawling out of a grave, which perfectly highlights the horror elements of the franchise once again.

I rarely find a figure or statue genuinely scary, but there’s something about this Foxy Funko which I find truly unsettling. I don’t know if it’s the hundreds of fangs protruding from his mouth or the ominous look in his eyes, but there’s something special about this piece. I would love to add this one to my collection, but I’m yet to find one for a suitable price!

Pros

  • Isn’t just a standard Funko Pop, but more of a statue
  • The base of the figure makes it a lot easier to stand up
  • Unique in looks and style of figure
  • Incredibly detailed

Cons

  • I have no complaints! This is my favorite Five Nights at Freddy’s Funko Pop

Jack-O-Chica

jack-O-Chica Exclusive Pop

Much like the Jack-O-Bonnie figure I mentioned earlier, this Jack-O-Chica feels like a one-of-a-kind Funko Pop. Although it doesn’t adopt the same glow-in-the-dark ability, this figure has an outstanding level of detail. I love the terrifying addition of all the fangs in the beak of the character, as I thought that these details would be too complex to add to the minimalist design of Funko Pops.

The tiny pumpkin accessory is a notable addition to the figure since it’s an element many brands would miss when making merch of this horrifying character.

However, also like the Jack-O-Bonnie, this figure is an exclusive release. But instead of being locked to Barnes & Noble, it’s a GameStop exclusive. I find this a little confusing, as I think the whole collection of pumpkin pals should be in the same place rather than across several locations.

Pros

  • Small pumpkin accessory
  • Attention to detail, especially with the fangs
  • It perfectly represents the horrifying side of Chica
  • Underrated design for this character
  • Also available in plushie form!

Cons

  • GameStop exclusive
  • No further production, so another rare find

Honorable Mentions

Five Nights At Freddy's Golden Freddy Vinyl Figure

While these FNAF Funko Pops may not be my idea of a perfect figure, there is a lot of love out there for some pops I have omitted from this list. So it’s only fair that I offer a ‘best of the rest’ rundown to cater to all FNAF lovers. Check it out below:

FAQs

Question: Where can I buy Funko Pop figures?

Answer: Funko Pops tend to be stocked in most merchandise retailers. In this list, I showcase exclusive figures to Target, Walmart, GameStop, and Barnes & Noble, but they can also be found in any shop that stocks toys or general nerdy merch. Places like Hot Topic and Box Lunch are guaranteed to have a selection of Funko Pop figures, but if you’re still out of luck, there are hundreds of retailers online to help meet your Funko Pop needs.

Question: What is a chaser figure?

Answer: The term chaser is used to represent a figure within a collection that is typically the rarest of the bunch. If you are collecting something with a ‘mystery character’ or figure with slim chances of finding, this will commonly be referred to as a chaser. A figure with the smallest odds will be the rarest of the collection and is, in turn, the one most collectors are after!

Question: Are there Security Breach Funko Pops?

Answer: Currently, no Security Breach Funko Pop figures are currently available for purchase. Funko has released standard figures and plushies for the game, but I don’t understand why Funko Pops haven’t made the cut. As they are one of the best-selling products Funko has, and Security Breach reignited the love for Five Nights at Freddy’s, I find it shocking that no figures of this style have been made. Additionally, I would love to add a Mongomery Gator to my Pop collection.

Summary

Buying one Funko Pop will always open the doors to purchasing several, so you must go shopping with a slight idea of what you want before your wallet burns a hole in your pocket! Over the years, my home has been filled with various Funko Pop figures, but how can you resist their adorable design?

The Five Nights at Freddy’s collection of Funko Pops seems limitless already, but I find it incredibly hard to believe that the company won’t continue to produce them in the future. There is something for everyone, but I think Funko would benefit from expanding their collection to include more of the lesser-known characters from the franchise.
